Three first-time winners were among the big highlights recorded by Clarence's wrestling team at Saturday's annual Class AA Championships, held this year at Williamsville South.

Jon Palozzi, Jimmy Di- Costanzo and Jack Feltz all picked up the first tournament wins of their respective careers by way of their first-place finishes in the 132-, 152- and 160-pound divisions, respectively. Palozzi earned his title by defeating Niagara Falls' Wilfredo Borges, 7-4, in their final, while DiCostanzo posted a 9-6 decision over Kenmore's Teddy Hengel for his title. Feltz picked up his win by way of his 14-2 major decision over Frontier's Owen Weller in their final.
