Tonawanda wrestler Frazer repeats at Class B meet

NEWS

Jason Frazer wrestled in a different weight class than at last year's Section VI Class B Championships, but he was successful none the less, taking the 170-pound title on Saturday at Cheektowaga High School. Frazer won at 182 last year.

The Tonawanda senior pinned his way to the title this year, beating Dunkirk's Alexandro Navarro in 34 seconds in the opening round, Alden-Depew's Sam Grant in 1:14 in the quarterfinals and fifth seed Jack Strom in Fredonia in 2:47 in the semifinals. Frazer then completely dominated third seed Alex Schenk of Pioneer by major decision, 19-5, in the finals.
