ALBANY — On Monday the New York State Public High School Athletic Association announced the seedings and opening round pairings for the 2020 Wrestling Championship that is to take place this weekend and with 10 local wrestlers making the trip across the state, there will be grapplers all across the board come Friday.
Hosted by Section II, the State Championships will take place this Friday and Saturday at the Times Union Center in Albany. The preliminary rounds will begin starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, with the quarterfinals and wrestlebacks to follow. The semifinals will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, with the consolation finals scheduled for 2 p.m. and the finals slated for 6:30 p.m.
