Some drama, plenty of dominance and by day's end, 15 Section 4 wrestlers hit the pillows Friday night with dreams of a state championship still a reality.
Five of the six top seeds from the area made it to Saturday's semifinal round of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Wrestling Championships at Times Union Center in Albany.
And for the one who didn't, Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville junior Brody Oleksak, it wasn't because he was outperformed. Oleksak suffered a left-arm injury in the third period of his preliminary match and could not continue.
That was a one dark cloud on an otherwise sunny day for Section 4.
