C-G, B-R, Hornell well represented at state championships

ALBANY — The season started nearly four months ago when thousands of wrestlers all across the state gathered for their first practices of the year on Nov. 11.

From there, the student-athletes tirelessly worked on days, nights and weekends honing their craft in pursuit of the ultimate goal: Making it to the last weekend in February.

Now, after months of hard work, eight local wrestlers will be heading to the NYS Championships at the Times Union Center in Albany on Friday morning at 10 a.m.
