ALBANY — Five local wrestlers earned place finishes at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Division II wrestling championships on Saturday at the Times Union Center.

Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Panama/Clymer's Martin Ohlsson and Fredonia/Silver Creek/Pine Valley/Forestville/Brocton's David Ball both finished in fifth place in their respective weight classes. Southwestern's Dontae Hoose finished sixth while Ball's teammates Ceric Kristan and Jake Skinner both finished eighth.
