Profile: All-American wrestler Frank Famiano (PDF, 3/3/1982)

Winning the 126 pound title at last weekend's NCAA Division III National Wrestling Championships was a just reward for hard working Brockport junior Frank Famiano.

Besides capturing the individual title, qualifying him for the upcoming Division I National Tournament being held at Iowa State, Famiano was named as the tournament's "Outstanding Wrestler."

Now a three-time All-American selection, Famiano has helped lead the Golden Eagles to national titles in 1980 and 1982 and to a second place finish in 1981.
