Rome Free Academy senior Ashton Thompson wants to end his wrestling career with a big finish at the state meet this weekend. The winningest wrestler in school history is making his third trip to that big stage.
The New York State Public High School Athletic Association wrestling state championship runs Friday and Saturday at the MVP Arena in Albany. There was no state event last season due to COVID-19.
