Mike Rigerman knew he wasn't the biggest or fastest football player, but he knew that he was versatile and that quality would lend itself to carving out a roster spot at the college level.
He found a place at the University of Findlay, a Division II school in northwest Ohio, where he became one of the football program's most prolific tight ends.
Now, Rigerman wants to find a niche at the professional level. The 2019 Pioneer graduate and 2018 Connolly Cup winner as the top high school football player in Western New York is joining the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent.

He moved from tight end to running back at Pioneer and ran for 2,116 yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior in 2018. He was a Division II state wrestling champion in the 220-pound weight class in 2019. At Findlay, he was a hybrid tight end/H-back ? someone who can catch passes, block and help the run game.
