PENDLETON — NYSPHSAA state tourney here we come.
Section VI's wrestling championships and annual state qualifier for Division I (large schools) and II (small schools) were held Saturday at Starpoint High School and Southwestern High School, respectively, with many local wrestlers prevailing. Nine student-athletes clinched automatic bids in the NYSPHSAA intersectional state wrestling championships, with five coming in D-I, while four more came from the D-II ranks.
