Betsy Veysman
 Betsy Veysman, a Cornell University graduate, has been honored with the Stanbro Media Award for the Upstate New York's Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. While a student at Cornell Betsy join "The Cornell Daily" as a sports writer and unbeknown to her commenced a distinguished career as a wrestling sport's journalist. Betsy was not very knowledgeable about the sport of wrestling but Big Red coach, Rob Koll, assisted and guided her to become one of the best wrestling sport writers in the field. Betsy started the New York Wrestling website and has written many wrestling pieces that often highlight the personal aspect of the wrestler rather than all the accomplishments that they have compiled.






The National Wrestling Hall of Fame of the Upstate New York State Chapter will induct their new members into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Lifetime Service Award winners, honor this year's recipients of the Outstanding American Award, the Stanbro Media Award as well as the yearly Volunteer Award winners.
