1964-1965 Fillmore Eagles Wrestling
The 1964-65 mat team of 16 boys was dominated by nine sophomores. There were four seniors on the squad and all received county honors. The team placed third in the Allegany County League after winning the championship last year. The quad performed superbly considering the loss of twelve boys from the championship squad. Fillmore was in first from November until the middle of February before dropping to third place. Stan Adamowicz won for his second straight year the county championship and Most Valuable Wrestler Award at his weight class. The team compiled eight wins and four losses. SOURCE: 1965 Crest.
