ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.  We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and articles as well.  Many college and public libraries have microform copies of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years.  In them, you can find lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time, make a trip to the library and check it out.  Ask a librarian how to get started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Nineteen bouts were staged last night in the semi-finals of the first annual city interscholastic wrestling tournament held in the Madison Junior High gymnasium. Rochester Shop School matmen taking high honors by winning four of the eight titles. The most interesting bouts of the evening were those between Pete Bartolomeo, Shop School, and Walt Koch, East High, both men winning the semi-finals in the 160-pound and heavyweight events. The Vocational wrestler took things easy during the first part of the 160 pound bout and after Koch had tired himself, placed his shoulder on the mat for the count. The heavyweight event was very closely contested by the judge's awarded the decision to the Technical captain after the men had wrestled the limit of 15 minutes.

East and West High grapplers took two each of the remaining four matches.
