ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.  We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and articles as well.  Many college and public libraries have microform copies of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years.  In them, you can find lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time, make a trip to the library and check it out.  Ask a librarian how to get started and how to print out the articles that you find.

The wrestling teams of Charlotte and Kodak wrestled to a 22 to 22 tie yesterday afternoon at Kodak High. Two of the matches were forfeited because of non-appearances, one in favor of Charlotte and the other in favor of Kodak. In the 125-pound class Holley, of Charlotte, and Zimmerman, of Kodak, put on the best match of the afternoon. The match was even most of the way. Zimmerman was awarded the judge's decision after 15 minutes of wrestling. Siddons, in the unlimited class, made fast work of Gould, of Charlotte, pinning his shoulders to the mat after one minute of wrestling.

WEST HIGH WINS FROM CHARLOTTE GRAPPLERS
Democrat and Chronicle

West High grapplers won every fall but one from Charlotte High yesterday afternoon and easily walked off the mat with first honors and a score of 28 to 6. The Westsiders won four falls and two decisions over their Lakeside rivals. The only match to go adversely to the Occidentals was that between Meyer and Holley, of Charlotte, the later gaining a fall to give the visitors their six points. Meyer made a quick change from a journalist's occupation to the squared circle, and while losing indicated that he would become a powerful unit to Coach Hulek's machine with more practice.
