Wrestlers in Draw with Kodak Matmen
Thursday, March 12, 1925
The wrestling teams of Charlotte and Kodak wrestled to a 22 to 22 tie yesterday afternoon at Kodak High. Two of the matches were forfeited because of non-appearances, one in favor of Charlotte and the other in favor of Kodak. In the 125-pound class Holley, of Charlotte, and Zimmerman, of Kodak, put on the best match of the afternoon. The match was even most of the way. Zimmerman was awarded the judge's decision after 15 minutes of wrestling. Siddons, in the unlimited class, made fast work of Gould, of Charlotte, pinning his shoulders to the mat after one minute of wrestling.

Grapplers Win from Kodak High Matmen
Thursday, February 26, 1925
East High matmen had no difficulty keeping up their winning steak in the Rochester City League yesterday afternoon when Coach McKay's grapplers won from Kodak High, 36 to 8. Only six of the scheduled classes were put on, the Ridge road visitors having no entries in the 160 and heavyweight classes. Kodak matmen won two decisions in the bracket, Miller defeating Woodley in the 147-pound class and Martin whipping Bucker in the opening event, the 105-pound class.
At the conclusion of the meet, Okuniewicz, the Orientals 160-pounder, put on an exhibition with Freckleton, heavyweight of the homesters. The lighter grappler was too good for the big boy who failed to get a fall in the time limit.
