of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

The final event of the Rochester Public High School wrestling season will get
under way this afternoon, when the prliminary round of the annual city
individual wrestling championship will be held at Tech High at 4 o'clock. Only
three of last year's champions will be on hand to defend their laurels.
Of these, two are counted upon as repeaters. Robinson and Feary, both of Tech,
look the best in their respective classes. Robinson won the 118-pound class
while Feary gained the 137-pound championship last season. Matakie, of East
High, will have tougher opposition this year when he runs up against Collier, of
West High. In two matches they have broken even, with Matakie winning the first
and Collier the second.
Only four of the city high schools have teams wrestling this year. These schools
are counted on to enter a large number of contestants. They are East, West, Tech
and Charlotte.
