ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.  We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and articles as well.  Many college and public libraries have microform copies of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years.  In them, you can find lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time, make a trip to the library and check it out.  Ask a librarian how to get started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Interscholastic League wrestlers swept 11 of the 12 classes in Class AA of the Section 5 wrestling tournament yesterday at Brockport State Teachers College.

The Rochester grapplers would have made it a perfect day had not Richard Bowerman of Monroe forfeited to John Moracco of Geneva for not making weight.

Feature of the day's program, which 36 bouts held in the three groups, was the victory of Moses Gilbert of Madison over Donald Furano of Geneva on a referee's decision. Gilbert's triumph in the 127-pound division marked his fourth consecutive Section 5 wrestling championship.

Other Interscholastic League champions, who added sectional titles to their laurels were Harold Leary of Charlotte, Gene Costa and Tom Maggio of Jefferson, Phil Fedele of Madison, Ben Miles and Donald Haefele of Marshall, and Dave Storace, Jerry Diegel, Donald Palermo and Bill Noun of East.

Costa copped the unlimited division by a 3-2 margin in the last four seconds by scoring a reversal on Ray Griffee of Geneva.

In Class A, Spencerport of Monroe County had two winners - Dave Egan and Eugene Dini. Attica had three winners, Letchworth two, Painted Post two, Wayne two and Perry one.

Two Batavia School for the Blind entrants won titles in the B-C-D finals. Ed Harrington won in 95 and Kenneth Cross, who is totally blind, scored in 154.
