ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Fifty-two boys took part in the finals of the 7th Annual Intramural Wrestling
Tournament yesterday at Edison Tech.
Elimination matches began six weeks ago with every able-bodied boy in the
school, 1,000 taking part. Eight hundred bouts were needed to complete the
tournament.
The grapplers were divided into two divisions: elementary for 8th and 8th
graders and advanced for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders, with each division having
13 weight classes.
Admission was charged for the finals only, with the resulting funds going, on
alternate years, to either the Red Cross or the Polio Fund.
Stefen Fleischer was the only 8th grader to win a final match in the elementary
division, he won the 112-pound class.
