With more boys to work with this year, Mr. Joseph Baier, coach of the wrestling team, won more matches than in previous years. The record at the end of the season stood at 7 wins 4 losses.

A strong and experienced team is expected next year with only three seniors on the starting squad leaving. This year the wrestlers held many of their practices and matches at the Gillette School. Many young boys became interested in wrestling while watching workouts at Gillette. The future looks bright for wrestling at R-H. (The Cometeer, 1959)
