ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Pembroke has been much
honored in the past three years due to the achievements of its own
Superstar, Jim Schuster. The nickname started as a joke but Jim has
made it a reality. Jim began his fantastic wrestling career in his
Sophomore year when he placed second in the county. He finished that
year with 14 wins and 3 losses. In his Junior year, he again went to
the county matches ― this time to win. His victory there enabled him
to go to Sectionals and on to the State finals. He topped off his
second season with the incredible record of 23 wins against 1 loss.
Jim has not let us down this year. At the Christmas tournament at
Akron he pinned his 3 opponents, taking first place. He was voted
the overall best wrestler of the tournament by the coaches of the
schools represented.
In his entire career, Jim has never been pinned. He has been praised
and honored several times. Yet, throughout his wrestling years, he
has remained modest and unassuming. He holds the esteem of his
opponents, his teammates, and the faculty and student body of
Pembroke. Jim Schuster has earned the title ― Superstar. (Crossroads,
1971)
