E-mail corrections or additions to info@armdrag.com.

ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.  We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and articles as well.  Many college and public libraries have microform copies of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years.  In them, you can find lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time, make a trip to the library and check it out.  Ask a librarian how to get started and how to print out the articles that you find.

The J.V. Wrestlers began the 1984-85 season with very little experience and an extremely tough early season schedule. Although the team members worked hard, the team was soon 0 and 4. This very good competition helped the J.V.s. They continued to improve throughout the season, finishing with a record of 6 wins and 5 losses and 5 individual league champions.

The league champions were Mike Hart, Chris Hart, Todd Forkey, Troy Phillips, and Chris Utter. Dave Bannerman and Chris Manno wrestled very well in the league tournament and both finished second. Shawn Perrigo finished 4th in the league in a very tough weight class, and Rich Bent and Jim Tarbell wrestled very well in the season finale.

The best individual season belonged to captain Bob Buchel, who finished with a 15 and 1 record. Bob won 3 varsity matches and was the 199 pound champion of the Batavia Christmas Tournament.

Bob Buchel was voted as the outstanding wrestler by his teammates and Troy Phillips won the coaches' award for most improved.
