of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Spencerport gives Jacoutot 300th victory in wrestling

Spencerport coach Bill Jacoutot earned his 300th career victory with a 66-6 win
over Webster Schroeder in a Monroe County wrestling match Wednesday.
"I'm very proud of the accomplishment," Jacoutot said. "It was something I never
thought would exist when I started."
Included in the 300 wins is a 115 consecutive dual meet streak against Section V
teams.
"Today I reflected on all the kids who contributed to it," Jacoutot said. "When
you play 300 wins backward you realize all the contributing members."
Wednesday the 300th wasn't hard to come by. Schroeder sent out just four
wrestlers, giving up nine matches to forfeit. Dave Carletta's pin of Mark
Giullari at 215 pounds was its only victory.
