ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

In their second year of competition, Coach Connorton's wrestlers finished well
with 71 individual victories and four draws. Though the team won only two of its
twelve meets, the majority were lost by a few points which, as the team ganis
experience, should turn in favor of IHS. A 26-24 victory over highly rated
Eastridge and an eleven second pin by unlimited wrestler Lou Schultz were among
the season's highlights.
At the Sectionals, Captain Lou Schultz and Dave Powell placed third in their
weight classes while Bob Stiehler, Jay Whipple, and Dick Stiehler placed fifth.
